QR codes and hyperlinks to bioST@TS pages

It is a fact that nearly (if not all) students have a tablet or a smartphone in the classroom. Most of them have already downloaded an app for scanning bar codes and QR codes (two-dimensional bar codes) to get rebates, benefit from various offers… We have taken advantage of this fact and have built an index of the chapters and sections of bioST@TS (see below) that contains QR codes linking directly to these chapters. This page thus gathers QR codes and hyperlinks which you can use directly in your documents and presentations to make the content of one of bioST@TS’ pages available to all within a click.

Figures and graphs in MS Excel 2010Example: you want to refer your students to our page about figures and graphs in MS Excel 2010. Simply import the corresponding QR code (sqaure picture to the right or the following link http://biostats.w.uib.no/topics/ms-excel-2010/excel-3-figures-and-graphs/ in your document, compendium or presentation. Students will only have to scan this code or click or follow the link to get access to the corresponding page.
